The name Rare Bird arose from an appreciation of Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty. To her, these virtues were uniquely represented by the “rarest” of birds: the dove, swan, and sparrow. At Rare Bird Brides, we attempt to emulate the beauty and passion of Aphrodite with each unique bride that we have the privilege to work with. Kristen Jean is the founder of Rare Bird and has been in the beauty industry for 10 years. Kristen has studied at Graham Webb, Toni&Guy, and with Mike Karg.
